Our Activities

Theory of change

empowering learning communities on their voyage of digital discovery

  • Research

Everything we do is rooted in science.

There remains much to be researched to provide for a sound scientific basis for the development of digital learning applications, as well as teaching methods and learning processes broadly speaking. We therefore support both fundamental and applied research, putting digital learning on a solid scientific footing. Our research funding may take a number of different forms (including, for example, scholarships). We believe the fields of neurology, neural networks, artificial intelligence, as well as related concepts pertaining to the efficient transfer and reception of knowledge, will lead to breakthroughs in education.

If your R&D project might help us realise the School of the Future, check if it is a fit!

  • Projects & Initiatives

We believe in the centrality of methodological competencies.

Because methodological competencies offer the best preparation for adapting to an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment. They stress the importance of critically evaluating information, but also focus on the logical interpretation and appropriate presentation of results.

In the context of digital learning and teaching processes, these are truly essential skills. We therefore develop our own projects and initiatives to promote methodological skills in learning communities and make them accessible on a broad basis.

Funding Strategy

Digiscovery is seeking to rethink education by seeding groundbreaking research and acting as a catalyst for change through our own initiatives. We are well positioned to take risk the market is not compensating for (yet).

So do approach us if your research project:

IMPROVES ACCESS TO HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION VIA DIGITAL MEANS

is original

offers transferable outcomes

Applications

We want to improve chances of the best research projects being funded by channeling them through a two-step selection process:

Disclaimer: as a corporate foundation, we muster support from our technical experts on the corporate side to judge the potential technical aspects of your project. We might even decide that your proposal warrants an investment rather than a grant – if you don’t mind us passing information on to Bold Brains AG, we certainly don’t mind channeling your proposal whichever way we see fit.
